‘A Spirit Guide, A Ghost Tiger and One Scary Mother!’
Megan is a 13-year-old teenage girl, who realises that she has psychic powers that most others do not have. At first, she tries to talk to her mother about them, but with disastrous consequences, so she learns to keep quiet about them.
However, some people did offer to help and an animal showed a special friendship, but they were not ‘alive’ in the normal sense of the word. They had passed on.
Megan has three such friends: Wacinhinsha, her Spirit Guide, who had been Sioux in his last life on Earth; her maternal grandfather, Gramps and a huge Siberian tiger called Grrr.
Wacinhinsha is extremely knowledgeable in all things spiritual, psychic and paranormal; her grandfather is a novice ‘dead person’ and Grrr can only speak Tiger, as one might imagine and most of that, of course is unintelligible to humans.
In this episode in Megan’s life, she is given a laptop computer and she discovers how to use social media. Now that she is thirteen her parents are happy about her using it, so Megan creates Twitter and Facebook social media accounts in order to keep in touch with her friends.
Later she finds out about different social media like Skype and blogging. Megan’s parents have to pay for her blog account, its domain name and hosting, although they do stop the money from Megan’s pocket money. However, at $1.25 a week, it is less than a quarter of the cost of her previous texting.
This volume discusses communication from the point of view of Spirit and Internet phenomenon known as social media.
